Why it matters
A mid-size EO/IR framework from FMI covering three range classes plus installation, maintenance and training — a repeatable maritime surveillance reference. Relevant to EO/IR camera and gimbal makers and integrators able to service Danish naval vessels locally.
Do this: Submit a bid via the FMI/TED notice by 17 August 2026 if you can cover lightweight, medium- and long-range EO/IR systems plus Danish in-service support; otherwise approach likely bidders as a payload subsupplier.

Summary

Denmark's Defence Ministry procurement agency FMI is tendering a framework agreement for delivery, installation and maintenance of electro-optical (day camera + thermal) systems for Coastal Rescue Service and Naval Home Guard boats, primarily for locating persons in the water, plus navigation in poor visibility and ship inspections. Three variants are required: lightweight, medium-range and long-range systems, with training of Danish Defence personnel in use and maintenance. Estimated value EUR 12.06m; bid deadline 17 August 2026.
