Forsvarsministeriet Materiel- og Indkøbsstyrelsen (FMI) har indgået kontrakt med Rheinmetall Waffe Munition GmbH om anskaffelse af nyt Decoy Launching System til det danske Søværn. Specifikt har FMI indgået kontrakt om anskaffelse af fem systemer til fregatterne af ABSL- og IVER-kl. Leverandøren leverer som en del af anskaffelsen træning som en service. FMI har ydermere indgået en rammeaftale om genforsyning af ammunition samt aftale om vedligehold med leverandøren med en varighed på op til 20 år. Vedligeholdelseskontrakten indeholder følgende ydelser: - Vedligehold - Support - Reservedele - Træning FMI gør opmærksom på, at Rheinmetall Protection Systems GmbH fremgik som leverandør i bekendtgørelse med henblik på frivillig forudgående gennemsigtighed. Det er imidlertid Rheinmetall Waffe Munition GmbH der er den reelle kontraktpart, hvorfor FMI i denne bekendtgørelse har angivet Rheinmetall Waffe Munition GmbH som kontraktpart. Begge selskaber er selskabsretligt struktureret under samme moderselskab, hvorfor FMI vurderer, at bekendtgørelsen efterlever betingelserne i Lov om Klagenævnet for Udbud § 4, stk. 2.
