Se trata de proporcionar las asistencias y servicios necesarios para el normal desenvolvimiento de las operaciones aéreas de las flotas de aviones registradas en el Ministerio de Defensa u operadas por personal del mismo, así como a sus tripulaciones, cuando se desplacen a/desde aeropuertos civiles tanto nacionales como extranjeros y también en bases propias o aliadas siempre que el Ministerio de Defensa no disponga en dichos aeropuertos o bases con medios necesarios ni propios ni de otros colaboradores o aún contando con medios, sean solicitados los apoyos correspondientes.
