National Armaments Director Urs Loher will visit the Czech Republic on 16 September 2026. During his visit, the National Armaments Director will be meeting with the Czech National Armaments Director, General Jan Gurník, as well as representatives from industry. On 16 September 2026, National Armaments Director Urs Loher will meet his Czech counterpart, General Jan Gurník, in Prague for bilateral discussions. The discussions will cover current topics of armaments policy, such as national security and armaments policy developments in Switzerland and the Czech Republic, European armaments cooperation as well as possibilities for bilateral cooperation. As part of his visit to the Czech Republic, the National Armaments Director will also meet with representatives from the Czech defence companies Colt CZ Group and Czechoslovak Group (CSG). The National Armaments Director will be accompanied by representatives from the Federal Office for Defence Procurement armasuisse.
